Website redesign
Keep what is true. Replace what gets in the way.
A redesign should solve a business problem, not merely change the paint. We audit the existing pages, preserve useful content and URLs where appropriate, then rebuild the customer path around what the business is now.
What you need to know.
Parcha Lab redesigns small-business websites that are outdated, difficult to use on phones, unclear about services or hard for search engines to understand. The redesign includes page strategy, rewritten copy where needed, custom mobile-first layouts, SEO foundations and a careful launch plan. Essential redesigns start at $495 one time for up to five pages.
Look for friction, not age alone.
An older site can still work well. A newer one can fail immediately. A redesign is justified when the current experience makes a real customer task harder or represents the business inaccurately.
The offer changed
The navigation and page copy still describe services, prices or priorities the business has outgrown.
Phone visitors struggle
Text is cramped, actions are hard to tap, menus hide the important pages or forms are painful to complete.
The site is vague
A visitor cannot quickly identify the service, service area, proof or next step.
Search visibility has no foundation
Important services share one generic page, titles repeat and crawlable structure is missing.
Updates are risky
Small content corrections regularly break layouts, links or the rest of the site.
A redesign starts by deciding what deserves to survive.
We inventory the current URLs, page purposes, working forms, useful copy, proof and search signals before designing the replacement. A familiar domain or valuable page should not disappear just because a new visual concept is exciting.
The audit separates four decisions: keep, rewrite, combine or retire. That produces a page map and redirect plan before launch. It also prevents a common redesign failure where the new site looks cleaner but quietly loses the specific pages that customers or search engines used.
Preserve facts, improve the explanation.
Your business name, verified services, service areas, policies and proof remain factual inputs. We do not invent reviews, results or credentials to make the new copy sound stronger. We reorganize what is true so a first-time visitor can understand it faster.
When an existing sentence already works, it can stay. When several pages repeat the same paragraph, we decide which URL should own that intent. When a valuable service has no clear page, we use the available page count to give it room.
The migration is part of the design.
URL map
Every old indexable URL is matched to a surviving page, a purposeful replacement or a deliberate retirement.
Redirect plan
Moved pages receive direct permanent redirects instead of chains that send visitors through several hops.
Metadata review
Titles, descriptions, canonicals, language alternates and structured data match the new page purpose.
Form and link testing
Primary actions, phone links, navigation, forms and external destinations are verified before the new version replaces the old one.
Mobile comparison
The replacement is checked at multiple phone, tablet and desktop widths, including the pages that matter most to enquiries.
A redesign is not finished at the homepage.
We verify the live URLs, forms, canonical tags and crawlable paths after publication. The 30-day fix window covers bugs, typos, layout glitches and forms that do not send as intended.
Search engines may take time to recrawl a changed site, and rankings can move during that process. We provide a sound migration foundation, not a promise that a redesign will produce a specific traffic or revenue result.
A focused redesign can fit Essential.
Essential costs $495 one time for up to five custom pages. A larger site, complex account system, store or custom software workflow needs a separate scope. We identify that before money moves.
Use the existing domain
A redesign can normally launch at the same domain while preserving or redirecting useful URLs.
Keep real assets
Your original photos, logo and verified business facts can carry into the new build.
Change the structure when needed
We do not force old navigation onto a business that now sells differently.
Before replacing an existing site.
Will my website be offline during the redesign?
The new version is built and reviewed separately. The existing site can remain in place until the approved replacement is ready to connect. The exact launch plan depends on the current host and domain setup.
Can I keep my current domain?
Usually, yes. The domain can stay where it is while the new site is prepared. We review DNS and ownership details before launch so the connection is deliberate.
Will a redesign hurt SEO?
Any major site change can affect crawling and rankings. Preserving useful URLs, redirecting moved pages directly, keeping content intent clear and verifying canonicals reduces avoidable risk, but no outcome can be assured.
Do you have to rewrite every page?
No. We keep strong, accurate copy when it serves the new structure. We rewrite where the explanation is unclear, duplicated, outdated or missing.
Bring the current URL
Show us what the existing site gets right and wrong.
We will start with the business problem, audit the current pages and shape three homepage designs for the replacement on the preview path.
